You may be in acute distress. You may be concerned about a long-term underlying issue. You may be unsure what the matter is. What brings you to seek therapy may be one or more of the following:

feeling overwhelmed by: anxiety - grief - rage - jealousy - guilt - shame - emptiness

addictive / compulsive sex
dislike/disgust of your body
sexual concerns - intimacy, impotence, addiction
self harming behaviours

experiences of childhood separation: due to death, to divorce, to adoption,
to being in care,
to being away at boarding-schoolMy aim is to give respectful attention to your deepest feelings and needs, however confusing and conflicting.
It is this very process of sensitive enquiry that can ease distress -
creative work I am passionate about and fully committed to.(NB: in special circumstances, telephone counselling may be appropriate.)
Fee: £50 per hour's session
Concession possible on requestcounselling with couples I aim to facilitate constructive communication to enable both resolution of a current crisis and exploration of any long-term issue that you bring for attention. Impartial and non-judgemental, I support both parties in realising how different parts of themselves operate in the relationship to get needs met.
